The bodies of Egypt's former monarchs have been moved south to the capital, Cairo.

Experts at the museum say they spent two weeks studying and replacing the emperors, after removing them at a grand ceremony.

For the first time, portraits of kings were displayed near the coffin they were in, and they were shown to help understand their story before their deaths more than 3,000 years ago.

Each box is shaped so that it looks like the inside. Egyptian authorities hope the exhibition will help revive the tourism industry in Egypt.
