[TECHNOLOGY] Most Mobile Phones In The World Contain Dangerous Software - What Research Shows.

In a recent study in Nigeria, it is believed that one of the Android phones contains some intrusion software.
This is the result of a study conducted by mobile technology company Upstream after a study of 415,000 transactions.
This report follows a three-month study. And its purpose is to find out the depth of deception committed in the country during the cholera epidemic, especially between November 2020 and January 2021.
The functions of this malicious software can be as simple as changing mobile phone settings, but some can be very dangerous, where they steal passwords and personal data contained in the phone.
The survey showed an estimated 576 software programs in the country.
Upsrtream conducted the study with its online research firm Secure.
They say most of the software is available in the Play Store for mobile phones running the Android operating system.
The report lists five other software that includes key features, such as XOS Launcher, HiOS Launcher, Phoenix Browser, AHA Games and Cobo Launcher in a simple DIY Theme.
On most Android phones sold in Nigeria, the software will be installed.
For example, com.android.fmradio, which broadcasts FM radio, has been found to be the most common means of data theft from mobile phones, accounting for 99.8% of all cases. Upstream says 2.6 percent of all mobile phones contain such dangerous software.
He also said that software developers are more complex than other countries.
The report added that the risk of falling into fraud or theft of personal data from their mobile phones has increased as companies and individuals have embraced the internet due to the global epidemic. The company's next president, Dimitris Maniatis, said people who do not have full training in mobile phone systems could fall into the trap provided by the developers.
